Volodymyr Fesenko

V.Fesenko was born on November 8, 1958 in Lozova, Kharkiv region. He graduated with distinction form the Kharkiv National University, where he was studying at the faculty of History. Mr. Fesenko had an internship in the Harriman Institute, Columbia University (USA, 1998) and the Queen’s University, Kingston (Canada, 2000).

From 1981 till 2001 was teaching in some higher schools in Kharkiv. During the period of 1990-2000 V.Fesenko was a professor in the Department of History of Ukraine and political science of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogic Academy.

Over the period of 1994 – 1999 was coordinating a program “The civil society”, Kharkiv regional office of the Renaissance Foundation.

During 1999 – 2002 was a professor in the Department of applied sociology at the Faculty of Sociology, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

From 2001 – 2003 V.Fesenko was a Deputy Director of the Bureau of political consulting “Penta”.

From January 3, 2003 onwards V.Fesenko is a Head of the Center for political studies “Penta”.
Mr. Fesenko has more than 80 scientific and educational publications (in particular he is a co-author of some political science textbooks) and has more than 100 publications in published media.

V.Fesenko is a member of the Civil Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of Ukraine. He is also a member of the Ukrainian – Russian consulting council.
